Registering a Deal: Steps

Ready to register a deal with Couchbase?

The registration form is used to confirm your details as a partner of Couchbase and to learn more about the prospect you are registering.

The registration form:

  • Confirms your partner details and contact information so that we may reach out to you to discuss the registration
  • Lets us know about the prospect that you're registering and the main contact at that organization
  • Tells us some information that will help qualify the prospect

We will review and qualify the prospect and opportunity registrations, and if we determine it meets our criteria, we will approve the registration. We may reject an opportunity at our sole discretion. Approved “Resell” registrations ensure you receive deal protection and discounting based on the agreed partner program terms. Approved “Referral” registrations ensure you receive a referral fee on a closed “won” deal based on the agreed partner program terms and your governing agreement with Couchbase. Finally, approved “Co-Sell” registrations receive no commercial benefits but will be used to track opportunities with Couchbase. Any future deals would be governed by your governing agreement with Couchbase.

We will use the prospect information to help qualify the registration and we may require additional information from you or the end customer. Please note that Couchbase will contact you prior to engaging with the prospect. Furthermore, the qualification information will be used by the Couchbase Sales team to help qualify the registration.
